Last week we went on a little family trip. We started early, as we usually do on trips like these and we soon arrived close to the Slovenia-Austria border. This is where roads are hidden between tall hills and mountains covered in forest. Long winding roads lead you to the most beautiful viewpoints, where you can stop, look past the border and just admire!
Admire the fog in the valley that from the top looks like a sea and mountain’s peaks are its little islands. On the top, there is no disturbing noise. There is only a gentle sound of birds and early hikers every now and then.
If you’re lucky enough and you arrive there in morning hours you can see how rays of the sun are softly peaking over the tops of the mountains and slowly starting a new, fresh and joyful day in a valley.
The Logar Valley is one of the many Slovenian natural pearls. A long road takes you through the woods and fields, past farms, all the way to the waterfall Rinka. There are many opportunities to conquer a peak or to see a nearby lake or waterfall. On every step of the way, there is always something beautiful nature has to offer. You just need to hit the road and explore – adventure awaits!
